How to apply Silabaal

  • Silabaal® is very easily soluble in water. The powder should dissolve completely in the water as far as possible. Deposits / residues on the bottom should be avoided.

  • There are no special requirements for the water to be used. Please avoid suspended particles / impurities as much as possible, otherwise problems can arise during the spraying process (clogging)

  • It is recommended to dissolve Silabaal® in the water by stirring vigorously (at least 5 minutes).

  • Silabaal® is mixed with water in a ratio of 0.5%, i.e. 1 kg Silabaal® to 200 l water. For certain types of plants, a mixing ratio of 0.3% is sufficient.*

  • Commercially available spray systems can be used for spraying. The nozzles should produce a fine mist if possible.

  • Direct, intense sunlight when applying the foliar fertilizer should be avoided as far as possible.

  • Avoid windy and rainy days when spraying. This could significantly reduce the effect of Silabaal®.

  • Normally, Silabaal® is applied to the plant 3 times per vegetation period (90 to 100 days) at intervals of approx. 20 days. The cycle can also be reduced to 15 days if necessary.*

  • If the vegetation period for certain plants is more than 100 days, Silabaal® can also be applied up to 5 times per vegetation period.*

  • If the plants to be treated are trees or perennial plants (olives, cherries, etc.), Silabaal® can also be applied up to 5 times per vegetation period in individual cases.*

  • The first treatment of the crops takes place after the leaves have sprouted. For fruit crops, Silabaal® is applied for the first time before flowering.

  • The frequency of treatments/applications is based on the visual condition of the plant. Our team will support you in making decisions at any time.

  • Simultaneous applications of plant protection products should be avoided if possible and are not normally necessary. If the need arises, contact our team and use these products at different times and as sparingly as possible.

  • The use of conventional fertilizers can be greatly reduced.
